PRACTISE GOOD SAUNA ETIQUETTE

  1. Shower Before Entering: Always shower and dry off before entering the sauna. This helps keep the sauna clean and maintains a hygienic environment for everyone.

  2. Limit Your Time: A typical sauna session should last between 10-15 minutes. Pay attention to your body’s signals and step out if you feel uncomfortable.

  3. Respect Others’ Space: Saunas can be communal, so be mindful of others. Sit on your towel and avoid sprawling out. If the sauna is crowded, make room for others.

  4. Stay Quiet: Saunas are a place of relaxation. Keep conversations to a minimum and maintain a peaceful atmosphere.

  5. No Phones: Leave your phone outside. Saunas are meant for disconnecting and relaxing, and using electronics can disturb others.

  6. Use a Towel: Always sit on a towel to prevent sweat from getting on the benches. This helps maintain cleanliness for everyone.

  7. Don’t Add Water Without Asking: If you want to pour water on the sauna stones to increase the steam, ask others if they’re comfortable with it first.

  8. Respect the Dress Code: Follow the dress code of the sauna. We require all patrons to wear a swimsuit while using our facilities.

  9. Hydrate: Drink plenty of water after your sauna session to rehydrate your body.
